"OFFICINA MECCANICA BETTARINI" specialized in manufacturing equipments for the wollen spinning industry in the Prato area in Italy. Main activities were building cards for wollen spinning industry and semi‐worsted spinning industry. Mr. Paolo Bettarini, the youngest son of Ernesto established in the year 1974 the bematic company specifically to manufacture nonwoven cards. During the year 1988 Paolo Bettarini and Mario Serafini the engineer of bematic established the actual Bettarini & Serafini srl company which is the owner of bematic®. bematic® is registratedn trademark of Bettarini & Serafini srl who design and manufacture blending and opening equipment and computerized high speed nonwoven cards for the nonwoven fields and the new air forming. Today also Giovanni Bettarini, Fabio Serafini and Elda Bettarini are working in Bettarini & Serafini srl. The company is a family owned company. At the present time 70% of Bettarini & Serafini srl production, commercialized with bematic®’s name is for foreign market. The bematic® machines have been sold all over the world. TecTex needlelooms and complete production lines are characterized by the highest productivity and efficiency as well as superior web quality and evenness. Numerous innovations and inventions of TecTex have repeatedly contributed to progress in the nonwovens industry. In partnership with their customers TecTex continuously works to develop new technologies and improved nonwoven production. The performance of TecTex production lines can be demonstrated and evaluated with customer fibers in the TecTex R&D facility in Italy. A three-phase drives and the most sophisticated frequency converter technology make TecTex Needle Looms work absolutely reliably even at high insertion forces. In addition, the twin-shaft system balances oscillating and rotating masses. All this is incorporated in a modular structure enabling an optimal adaptation of the machine to the most different requirements. The modular structure also facilitates a quick replacement of individual drive groups. Needle board replacement is just as easy and quick thanks to the pneumatic quick clamping system with its precisely fitting positioning bolts. To guarantee an absolutely precise guidance of the needle bar, all needle bars of TecTex Needle Looms are equipped with an enclosed bearing which is slip-free and lubricated for life. Processing of special materials is no problem, as all critical machine areas are kept clean by means of the suction and a compressed-air pulse. Depending on the model, i.e. single or double board machine, or on the working width, the ENL Needle Looms are equipped with a compressed- air tank. This reservoir of compressed air avoids a breakdown of the compressed-air system during an air pulse. The air cooling of the main connecting rod bearing is simple and reliable at the same time: special filters ensure sufficient cooling and optimum cleanliness of the drive system even when maintenance intervals are longer.
